• Handle a diverse caseload involving civil litigation matters from initial strategy through resolution.
• Develop case strategies conduct legal research and prepare pleadings motions briefs and other legal documents.
• Manage discovery depositions hearings negotiations and other litigation activities.
• Communicate directly with clients and provide practical business-minded legal guidance.
• Collaborate with attorneys and professional staff to develop effective strategies and deliver excellent client service.
• Represent clients in court and other legal proceedings as appropriate.
• Manage deadlines case files and competing priorities with strong attention to detail.
• Contribute to a team-oriented practice while taking ownership of assigned matters.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Bar license in good standing.
• Civil litigation experience strongly preferred.
• Strong legal research writing analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to manage cases independently while working effectively within a team.
• Professional judgment attention to detail and strong client-service skills.
• Ability and willingness to work in person in Amarillo when needed.
