- Handle a diverse caseload involving civil litigation matters from initial strategy through resolution.
- Develop case strategies conduct legal research and prepare pleadings motions briefs and other legal documents.
- Manage discovery depositions hearings negotiations and other litigation activities.
- Communicate directly with clients and provide practical business-minded legal guidance.
- Collaborate with attorneys and professional staff to develop effective strategies and deliver excellent client service.
- Represent clients in court and other legal proceedings as appropriate.
- Manage deadlines case files and competing priorities with strong attention to detail.
- Contribute to a team-oriented practice while taking ownership of assigned matters.
Qualifications
- Active Texas Bar license in good standing.
- Civil litigation experience strongly preferred.
- Strong legal research writing analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to manage cases independently while working effectively within a team.
- Professional judgment attention to detail and strong client-service skills.
- Ability and willingness to work in person in Amarillo when needed.
