Pay: $125000.00 - $130000.00 per year

Location: Wichita Kansas Primarily On-Site with FlexibilityWe offer a collaborative office environment with flexibility to help our attorneys maintain a healthy work-life balance. New team members are expected to spend most of their time in the office as they become established.

Note: Candidates must have 2 years of civil litigation experience and an active Kansas law license. We welcome attorneys with additional experience who are interested in growing their litigation careers.

Job Description

• Manage and assist with civil litigation matters involving commercial disputes insurance defense healthcare negligence defense products liability and related areas.
• Handle discovery draft pleadings and motions conduct legal research and develop effective litigation strategies.
• Participate in depositions mediations court hearings and trial preparation.
• Work closely with experienced litigators while taking increasing ownership of cases and client matters.
• Deliver thoughtful practical legal solutions while building strong professional relationships.

Qualifications

• 2 years of civil litigation experience.
• Active Kansas Bar admission.
• Strong legal research writing and communication skills.
• Familiarity with discovery motions depositions and courtroom proceedings or a strong interest in developing these skills.
• Experience in commercial litigation insurance defense or healthcare negligence defense is especially welcome.
• Eligibility for admission in Missouri is desirable.
• A collaborative motivated and proactive approach to practicing law.
