Civil Litigation Associate Attorney

Pay: $90000.00 - $175000.00 per year

Job Description

• Manage litigation matters and help drive cases toward resolution.
• Draft motions pleadings discovery requests responses and other legal documents.
• Participate in depositions hearings mediations and other litigation proceedings.
• Communicate directly with clients regarding case developments and strategy.
• Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal and factual issues.
• Develop litigation strategy alongside experienced attorneys.
• Manage deadlines discovery obligations and multiple active matters.
• Gain exposure to sophisticated professional liability securities insurance and related civil disputes.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active Connecticut bar admission required.
• Strong legal research writing analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and competing deadlines.
• Professional liability and/or securities litigation experience preferred.
• Deposition discovery motion practice or client-facing experience is a plus.
