Civil Litigation Associate Attorney

Pay: $100000.00 - $175000.00 per year

Note:

Candidates must be admitted to practice in California and have 1 year of civil litigation experience. Professional liability and/or securities litigation experience is preferred but not required.

Job Description

• Manage your own litigation matters and help drive cases toward resolution.
• Draft motions pleadings discovery requests responses and other litigation documents.
• Participate in depositions hearings mediations arbitrations and court proceedings.
• Work directly with clients and provide strategic case updates and recommendations.
• Conduct legal research and analyze complex factual and legal issues.
• Develop case strategy alongside experienced litigation attorneys.
• Defend professionals including attorneys accountants architects engineers and insurance professionals.
• Assist with securities disputes including matters involving FINRA Dispute Resolution and arbitration.
• Handle Directors and Officers and other complex litigation in state and federal court.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active California bar admission required.
• 1 year of civil litigation experience required.
• Strong legal research writing analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters deadlines and priorities.
• Professional liability and/or securities litigation experience preferred.
• Deposition discovery motion practice or direct client experience is a plus.
