Roles & Responsibilities:
Attendance to Company witness & hold points on Contractors ITP
Conduct surveillance assessments of contractors adherence to contractual requirements of civil activities at construction site
Verify that construction materials used complies with contract requirements
Verify that the excavation backfilling compaction surveys and other earthwork activities etc. complies with relevant approved Inspection and Test Plans codes and standards and contractual agreements
Verify that all aspects of concrete and grout preparation mixing pre-pour inspections pouring and testing are completed etc complies with relevant approved Inspection and Test Plans codes and standards and contractual agreements
Sign off civil/concrete inspection test records contractors ITP and adherence to contractors Quality Plan
Required Qualifications:
Ten (10) years plus experience in capital construction projects in the oil/gas industry.
Detailed understanding of Canadian and other civil codes and standards
Demonstrable competency and understanding of civil (earthwork and concrete) construction methods
Working understanding of project execution construction and completion practices
Demonstrated ability to work in a project environment and function as a team player
Demonstrated acceptable interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs etc.
Read write and speak fluent English
