Join us for a hands-on engineering internship experience as a Civil Engineering Intern- Waterfront Infrastructure in Green Bay WI or Madison WI for Summer 2027. Working alongside experienced engineers youll contribute to projects that strengthen Great Lakes ports harbors navigation systems and waterfront facilities. Youll gain practical experience in waterfront inspections hydrographic surveying dredging support construction observation and engineering design while applying your classroom knowledge to infrastructure that supports commerce navigation and waterfront communities across the Great Lakes region.
- Work directly with team members on various project deliverables in the dredging environmental permitting civil and coastal engineering fields
- Conduct topographic & hydrographic surveys and 3D drone scans with certified team members
- Assist with structural inspections and construction oversight activities
- Support design work utilizing AutoCAD
- Prepare local state and federal permit documents
- Assist with data management and report preparation
- Pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering Environmental Engineering or similar engineering field from an ABET-accredited program
- GPA of 3.0 or greater
- AutoCAD Civil 3D experience
