Job Summary

Role Description This full-time on-site Civil/Environmental Engineer PE role is based in

Sarasota FL. The engineer will design analyze and manage civil and environmental

infrastructure projects with a focus on water wastewater and waste management systems.

Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing technical reports plans and specifications;

conducting environmental impact assessments; and ensuring projects meet regulatory and

environmental compliance standards. The role involves coordinating with clients regulatory

agencies and multidisciplinary teams providing environmental consulting services and

supporting permitting activities. The engineer will also oversee project execution review field

data and engineering calculations and help guide junior staff to ensure high-quality sustainable

solutions.


What Youll Do

Lead engineering projects involving water wastewater reclaimed water and water

resources

Prepare and oversee designs studies models master plans permits reports and

construction documents

Serve as a Project Manager or Technical Lead

Support pilot studies GIS/CADD modeling CEI services and client coordination

Assist with proposals business development budgets schedules and presentations

Work with clients consultants vendors and internal teams

Mentor engineers and CADD staff

Travel occasionally throughout Southwest and West Central Florida



Requirements

What Were Looking For

  • Bachelors degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • 6 years of engineering experience
  • Florida PE license or ability to obtain within 4 months
  • Strong communication and project management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
  • Experience with AutoCAD 3D GIS hydraulics/modeling or database management is a

plus

  • Masters degree and project management experience are preferred
