Civil Engineer – Land Development On-site

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer Land Development to oversee commercial residential and mixed-use development projects from initial planning through construction and completion.

This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with strong project management skills technical expertise and the ability to coordinate contractors consultants and regulatory authorities while ensuring projects meet deadlines budgets and quality standards.

• Manage land development projects from design and permitting through construction and completion.
• Oversee project schedules budgets cost estimates and resource planning.
• Coordinate civil engineering designs site plans grading stormwater systems utilities and infrastructure.
• Manage contractors consultants bids contracts invoices and change orders.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations building codes permits and development requirements.
• Conduct site visits monitor construction progress and resolve project challenges.
• Maintain quality standards and facilitate the timely completion of development projects.

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering.
• 7 years of experience in land development covering commercial residential or mixed-use projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licence in Virginia or the ability to obtain licence reciprocity within six months.
• Strong knowledge of construction drawings specifications contracts budgeting and scheduling.
• Experience with project management tools such as Procore Bluebeam or Primavera.
• Excellent communication coordination analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred: OSHA 30 certification.

• This is an on-site position in Brambleton Virginia.
