We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Civil Engineer to join our team at K&A Engineering in Binghamton New York. In this role you will have the opportunity to work on exciting and challenging projects that make a real impact in the energy and utility sectors. Youll be part of a dynamic people-focused team where your expertise ideas and contributions will be valued and celebrated.
Role Expectations:
- Grading and drainage design and review
- Foundations design and review
- Driveway and drive area design and review
- Overall site plan and truck/trailer access specific review of mobile access plans
- Civil engineering lead and advisor for all projects and the capital program
- Stormwater Management and Site Erosion Control Plan
- Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure Plan (SPCC)
- Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP)
What were looking for:
- Bachelors degree in engineering or engineering technology
- 2-5 years of engineering experience in Civil Engineering
- Design experience using MicroStation AutoCAD Civil 3D or related tools.
- Expert knowledge of local state and federal building code requirements
- Flexibility creative problem-solving and above-average interpersonal/ communication/ collaboration (Team) skills are required
- Must be able to work independently and able to meet quick turnaround timelines
- Must be able to work a hybrid schedule
Pay Range: $90000-$110000/annually
