Lead civil construction projects from the field to final closeout.

Lynch & Associates Engineering Consultants LLC is a growing multidisciplinary consulting firm with offices in Burlington and New Berlin Wisconsin. We are seeking an experienced Civil Construction Project Manager to lead construction projects guide field staff coordinate with clients and contractors and help ensure projects are delivered in accordance with plans specifications schedules and owner expectations.

This role is well suited for an experienced construction professional who can work independently lead teams in the field manage client relationships and bring strong technical judgment to municipal and civil infrastructure construction.

What Youll Lead

  • Manage construction projects and work independently while coordinating with Project Engineers and other project team members.
  • Train supervise and provide oversight to staff assigned to construction projects.
  • Observe construction activities and field staff performance to support compliance with project specifications engineering drawings and accepted industry practices.
  • Lead construction meetings and maintain regular communication with clients contractors public agencies and internal project teams.
  • Prepare project daily/diary reports bi-weekly construction status reports contract financial updates and project closeout documentation.
  • Review contractor shop drawings verify installed quantities and contractor pay requests and coordinate construction stakeout with survey staff.
  • Perform quality control on construction-team deliverables and constructability reviews in coordination with Design Project Managers.
  • Manage project budgets billings and accounts receivable responsibilities for assigned projects.
  • Assist with proposals contract preparation preliminary cost estimates project maps grant applications quantity takeoffs construction specifications and design support as needed.
  • Coordinate As-Built Plans and Record Drawings and support final construction closeout requirements.

What Were Looking For

  • 10 years of relevant construction/project experience.
  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or recognized technical expertise.
  • PE registration or comparable field/testing certifications.
  • Participation in a professional organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage civil construction projects staff contractors clients budgets and project documentation.
  • Ability to perform field work in inclement weather and varying terrain remain standing or walking for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to provide overtime when necessary to meet project deadlines.
  • Ability to meet Lynch & Associates automotive-insurability requirements for business driving.
