Location: Austin TX Hybrid so will go to the various state agencies 3-4x a week (ONLY SEND LOCALS not willing to relocate)

Excellent communication skills theyll be communicating with various clients so not really much of an accent
Need strong experience with SD-WAN

Job Description
Seeking a Senior Network Engineer who already resides in the Austin area. This role is hybrid supporting some of the various TX State agencies so will go to the various agencies and perform engineering activities and assessemnt/reporting of infrastructure - 3-4x a week onsite. Must have Cisco SDWAN and Network Infrastructure experience

This position has dual responsibility.

1) High level Network Engineer Operational role (with focus on SD-WAN)

2) Conduct Network assessment(s) for Texas Agencies and report) on network infrastructure advise on remediation and best practices across various agencies.

MUST HAVE minimum 8-10 YEARS of experience with the entire Cisco networking infrastructure.
MUST HAVE SOLID COMMUNICATION AND CLIENT COLLABORATION ENGAGEMENT SKILLS WITH CLIENTS LEADERSHIP AND STAKE HOLDERS.

Requirements:

• Candidate should be well versed in traditional Cisco LAN/WAN solutions and SD-WAN (including controllers and Edge routers) designs and Cisco Network devices firewalls switches patch panels LIUs and cabling standards.
• This includes both deployment and troubleshooting experience.
• They need to have experience dealing with issues that come up.
• Conduct assessment deep investigation (testing etc) and report on clients network infrastructure and then advise on remediation and best practices across various agencies.
• MUST have solid presentation and documentation skills.
