Christ the King Catholic School is seeking a compassionate organized and dedicated School Nurse to join our faith-filled school community.

Serving approximately 530 students from preschool through 8th grade our school nurse plays an important role in supporting the health safety and well-being of our students while partnering closely with families teachers and school administration.

• Full-time hourly position
• School-day schedule: approximately 7:45 a.m.3:00 p.m.
• Compensation: $30.00/hour
• Position follows the school calendar; hours are generally not worked during school breaks

The School Nurse will:

• Provide daily nursing care for students with illnesses injuries and other health needs
• Manage and support students with individualized health plans including students with diabetes seizure disorders allergies and other medical needs
• Administer medications and maintain accurate health documentation
• Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and communicate with families and emergency personnel when necessary
• Maintain student immunization and health records and assist with CHIRP requirements
• Communicate effectively with parents teachers administrators and healthcare providers
• Help develop and maintain student health and emergency action plans
• Promote a safe healthy and caring school environment

We are seeking a candidate who:

• Holds a current Indiana nursing license
• Has strong clinical judgment and is comfortable responding independently to student health needs
• Demonstrates excellent communication organization and record-keeping skills
• Enjoys working with children from preschool through middle school
• Values collaboration with families educators and administrators
• Is committed to supporting the mission and values of Catholic education

Experience in school nursing pediatrics emergency care or a related setting is preferred but not required.
