Chinese Language Fellow

Rate of Pay: $15.50/hr

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

• Develop language and cultural activities for the weekly Chinese table under the supervision of a Chinese faculty.

• Provide language learning support in all 4 skills: Reading Writing Listening Speaking to students during office hours (one-on-one meetings)

• Review materials practice speaking reinforce grammar rules guide students to self correct written assignments etc.

• Record students attendance in provided Google form.

Qualifications:

• This position requires native or advanced proficiency (and good grammar skills) in Chinese.

• Knowledge of Google Docs and Google Calendar preferred

• Ability to maintain confidential information

• Good communication skills
