Job Summary
What You Get To Do:
The Placement Supervisor is responsible for certifying de-certifying and re-certifying Child residential homes in accordance with regulations published by the Colorado State Department of Human Services. The Placement Supervisor recruits certifies orients and provides ongoing training and oversight of child residential/foster providers and their homes.
DEVELOPMENT AND CERTIFICATION:
- Certify re-certify and de-certify child residential/foster homes.
- Recruit and retain qualified foster and residential home providers.
- Complete and/or oversee background checks and home studies.
- Ensure timely recertification of all homes.
- Close homes when appropriate.
- Issue certification recertification and de-certification documents to relevant entities.
- Determine the suitability of prospective foster parents or independent contractors.
Qualifications :
What Makes You a Great Fit:
- Colorado residency is required
- Bachelors degree in social or behavioral sciences with a minimum of 3 years of direct child placement experience OR Masters degree in social or behavioral sciences with a minimum of 1 year of direct child placement experience
- Full compliance with all regulatory standards as established by the Colorado State Department of Human Services pertaining to personnel qualifications for Child Care Facility Licensing is mandatory
