As a Childcare Teacher youll help create a classroom where children feel safe supported engaged and excited to learn.

Youll:

• Plan and lead fun age-appropriate activities that encourage learning creativity movement and exploration.
  
  
• Create a safe welcoming and positive environment where every child can thrive.
  
  
• Develop lesson plans that reflect each childs interests abilities talents culture and individual learning style.
  
  
• Lead daily classroom activities and help create an engaging organized learning environment.
  
  
• Build positive relationships with children and serve as a caring dependable role model.
  
  
• Follow EEC regulations NAEYC standards and Old Colony YMCA policies and procedures.
  
  
• Help make each day at the Y a little more fun meaningful and memorable!
  
  

Full-Time Min. 35 hours per week MondayFriday

Shifts range between 6:45 AM and 5:30 PM.

Youll need:

• To be at least 21 years old OR have a high school diploma/equivalent and meet EEC education and experience requirements for a Teacher.
  
  
• EEC Teacher Certification
  
  
• Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications- willing to train
  
  
• Evidence of a physical examination within the last 12 months.
  
  
• A genuine passion for working with children and helping them learn grow and have fun!

Full time positions are hourly 35- 40 hours weekly M-F shifts range between 6:45 am and 5:30 pm.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 21 years of age or have a high school diploma or equivalent and meet EEC requirements for education and experience for Teacher.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required.
• Evidence of physical examination within last 12 months.
• EEC Teacher Certification
