Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic executive finance leader to join our team as our CFO. This highprofile will serve as the senior financial leader for Pierre Fabres US operations and as a strategic business partner to the CEOs and executive teams of the Dermo-Cosmetics businesses with high level of exposure to our pharmaceutical entity. The CFO will sit on the executive management team of Pierre Fabre USA be the dedicated business partner overseeing the FP&A team as well as a shared US Accounting organization a pivotal part in shaping financial strategy execution and success across the US.
The ideal candidate will bring:
- Experience as a subsidiary or functional CFO with HQ reporting preferably in aEuropean group environment.
- Deep knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS reporting with hands-on technical accounting experience.
- CPA designation (prior Big 4 highly preferred)and proven ability to manage complex technical accounting topics.
- Leadership experience across both Accounting and FP&Afunctions.
- Distribution contracts and manufacturing oversight experience.
- Experience with M&A growth phases and post-deal integration.
- CPG experience strongly preferred.
- Prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Essential Functions:
Strategic Leadership & Business Partnership
- Advise the CEOs and Management team on the financial aspects of their strategic orientations and business decisions.
- Act as a key business partner to functional leaders providing financial insight to supportgrowth profitability M&A and long-term value creation.
- Leverage prior experience as asubsidiary or function CFO with HQ reportingto ensure effective alignment and communication withGlobal/European headquarters.
- Perform management analyses and provide decision-support tools to local management teams.
- Maximize financial performance by tracking and analyzing trends variances and key drivers; provide recommendations to improve efficiency productivity and cost-to-serve.
- Applybest-practice governance standardsto decision-making and oversight.
Financial Planning Analysis & Reporting
- Direct and overseeFP&Aactivities to support strategic decision-making and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Lead the preparation follow-up and analysis of the annual budget forecasts and five-year plans for the US perimeter.
- Compare sales and profit projections to actuals and budgeted expenses; recommend adjustments to future projections and budgets.
- Direct the preparation of all financial statements for US entities including income statements balance sheets shareholder reports tax returns and governmental agency reports.
- Ensure financial reporting is fully compliant withUS GAAP and IFRS drawing onhands-on technical accountingexpertise.
- Support the preparation and transmission of monthly and six-month reporting packages and other required data for Group consolidation; review and improve planning and reporting processes leveraging priorHQ reportingexperience.
Accounting Tax Cash & Controls
- Oversee all localaccountingoperations via the Controller who leads a shared accounting center supporting both the Dermo-Cosmetics and Pharmaceuticals entities. Ensure and be accountable for the accuracy and quality of the financials for both entities including fixed asset tracking amortization tables and production of local and group consolidation data.
- Providetechnical accounting leadership (CPA Big 4style rigor)across complex transactions including those related toM&A distribution contracts and manufacturing.
- Manage tax declarations in accordance with local laws and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Oversee cash management: monitoring bank and cash outflows bank accounts reconciliations group loans management reports and optimization of financial flows.
- With support from the shared Finance team prepare select and transmit information required for external and internal audits.
- Ensure implementation and adherence to Group control procedures and good practices particularly in the areas of:
- Investments purchases and expenses
- Cash management and loans
- Sales customer accounts payment collection and marketing spend
- Inventory tracking estimates depreciations provisions etc.
Pharma-Specific Responsibilities
- In close collaboration with US pharma head of Finance:
- Provide financial accounting leadership insight and challenge and determining the accounting impact to the P&L including gross to net.
- Ensure all corporate deliverables and financial obligations related tobusiness development partners and CDMOs distribution and manufacturing contractsare met and accurately accounted for.
- Apply priorpharma experience to support the evaluation and optimize investments partnerships and launch strategies.
Dermo-Cosmetics & Shared Services Responsibilities
- Lead and manage theshared US Finance center ensuring effective support to both Dermo-Cosmetics and Pharmaceuticals acrossAccounting and FP&A.
- Serve as a key business partner for the Dermo-Cosmetics entity in the US supporting growth and profitability initiatives.
- Oversee procurement processes to ensure efficiency cost-effectiveness and compliance with financial policies and regulations.
- Driveprocess automation and future transformation of Finance operations leveraging prior experience ingrowth integration and transformation phases.
Systems Real Estate & Cross-Functional Projects
- In collaboration with the IT team lead or support long-term projects ( EDI web-portal CRM) to enhance financial data quality reporting and process efficiency.
- Apply strong systems and controls knowledge to ensure data integrity acrossUS GAAP and IFRSreporting.
- Oversee real estate and lease management for the US entities; verify the validity of contracts and leases in collaboration with legal counsel.
Governance Ethics & Culture
- Ensure that all interactions and engagements are conducted with the highest ethical and professional standards and that all work is executed with quality and in accordance withPierre Fabre values and industry best practices.
- Foster a culture ofperformance accountability and continuous improvementwithin the Finance organization.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing Finance team acrossAccounting FP&A and shared services drawing on prior leadership experience.

Required Education and Experience
- Masters degreein Business Administration Accounting Finance or related field required preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation strongly preferred; prior Big 4 experience highly desirable.
- 15 years of progressive experience in Finance(e.g. External/Internal Audit Controlling CFO FP&A) within a company of similar size and complexity.
- Experience as asubsidiary or functional CFOwith responsibility forHQ (preferably European) reporting and Group consolidation.
- Strong experience in the pharmaceutical industryrequired or highly preferred; experience inrare disease cell therapy and oncologystrongly valued.
- Experience in thehealthcare and/or pharmaceutical sectorhighly preferred; experience inconsumer/dermo-cosmeticsa plus.
- Demonstrated knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS withhands-on technical accountingexperience.
- Leadership experience managing multiple direct reports and leading both Accounting and FP&A teams.
- Experience withdistribution & contracts and manufacturing oversight(including CDMOs and supply chain contracts) preferred.
- Experience withM&A growth phases and post-merger integrationin a multinational context.
- CGP experience strongly preferred(e.g. corporate governance compliance and internal control frameworks).
- Demonstrated knowledge of accounting management and financial analysis.
- Experience withSAP implementation or major ERP systemsis a strong plus.
- Experience inorganizational and finance transformationis a plus.
Work Environment / physical demands / position type and expected hours of work:
- This positionbasedin Secaucus NJ and offers a hybrid work arrangement with two remote days each week.

Compensation and Benefits:
Salary Range: $220000 $350000
This range represents the base annual full-time salary for all positions within the applicable job grade. The actual salary offer will depend on a range of factors including experience education location and other relevant qualifications. This position is also eligible for a Pierre Fabre bonus commission or incentive program in addition to the base pay.
