We are looking for a Chief Engineer at Horizons at 77th!

The Chief Engineer advises and controls the Engineering operations within the resort which includes the daily supervision of mechanical structural electrical and other-related maintenance this position you will work with the Resort Leadership Team to develop maintenance programs; engage team members; maintain accurate budget; and find opportunities that better equip the organization to achieve its established annual business goals.

Main Responsibilities:
Completes property repairs and manages capital projects with company guidelines.
Guides and strengthens team members for future career opportunities.
Develops and completes the pivotal initiatives for the Engineering department and makes adjustments to the operations in order to meet the strategic goals and interests of Resort Operations
Ensure that the propertys Emergency Preparedness and Safety Awareness Plan(s) are updated and current at all times.
Maintains an accurate inventory of operating supplies and ensures that proper purchasing procedures are followed to maintain an adequate supply. Ensures all assets of the department equipment supplies and storage are properly locked and secured.
Handles relationships contracts compliance and interface issues with the operations business supporters and suppliers to ensure business needs and financial responsibilities are handled in a timely manner
Performs other related activities as required.

High school graduate or equivalent experience.
3-5Years of engineering experience in hotels or related industry.
3-5Years of managerial in the same or similar environment.
EPA OSHA 10-30 CPO certifications.
Experience with HVAC Electrical Elevators and plumbing.
Project management experience is a must.

Must have timeshare/resort experience.
Ability to write and speak English to comprehend and communicate job functions to engineering staff owners and guests.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Flexible Schedule.
