CHG Audio Visual Technician

JOB TITLE: AV TechnicianDEPARTMENT: I.T. (Emphasis in Audio Visual)JOB SUMMARY: Visual Technicians must be able to transport assemble maintain and repair equipment used in multimedia production. Familiarity with editing equipment and software may be required. Audio Visual Technicians must be creative and flexible with strong communication skills often under deadline addition to being proficient with computer systems used in multimedia production employers require word processing JOB FUNCTIONS:Responsible for practicing supporting and promoting the Company Service Standards at all timesAbility to communicate with Guests in a professional mannerAnswers Guest questions in a manner that reflects an understanding of the department and property in generalSetup and operate audio visual equipment for trainings presentations meetings and conferencesClear understanding of Signal flow and wiring technique including cable and ensure functionality of equipment including basic understanding of test procedures and test :Ability to communicate effectively with Guests Team Members and Management in both written and verbal and comply with all company departmental and Gaming Control Board rules and regulations policies and proceduresMust be able to work any day of the week and any shift to include weekends and holidaysMust be able to establish and maintain effective working relationship with Team Members and GuestsMust be at least 21 years of age EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:Bachelors degree in Information Technology or related field preferredAbility to read and effectively communicate in EnglishPHYSICAL MENTAL AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:Requires normal corrective vision range the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters numbers and symbols Ability to lift and move up to 70 pounds to be able to perform inspector and utility duties as neededWork is typically in an area which may be unusually hot cold noisy and may contain second hand smokeTasks performed from a sitting or non-sitting positionPerformance of job duties will require standing walking lifting bending reaching pushing pulling and grasping.
