Chemical Manufacturing Operations Technician

Trident Consulting is seeking a Chemical Technician for one of our client in Carlsbad CA A global leader in business and technology services.

Location: Carlsbad CA

Pay Rate: $28/hour w2

Duration: Contract Shift: MondayFriday 5:00 AM1:30 PM

Job Summary:

Seeking Operations Technicians to handle returned chemical containers perform decontamination acid washing nitrogen purging vessel rebuilding and chemical filling.

Responsibilities:

• Clean decontaminate and rebuild chemical vessels.
• Handle acids acetone IPA and other chemicals safely.
• Use hand tools including torque wrenches.
• Inspect containers perform data entry and maintain documentation.
• Assist with material receiving and equipment troubleshooting.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working with chemicals and solvents including acids acetone and isopropyl alcohol (IPA).
• Must be clean-shaven for full-face respirator use.
• Comfortable handling chemicals and wearing required PPE.
• SAP experience highly preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred; onsite training available.
• Must pass the required physical evaluation background check and drug screening.
