Chef Instructor

Our classes are hosted at unique partner venues including hotels breweries cafés and event spaces. We create memorable culinary experiences for guests of all skill levels and were looking for talented chefs who are passionate about sharing their knowledge in an engaging interactive environment.

Class Concepts Were Looking For

Were currently seeking instructors comfortable teaching one or more of the following:

• Paella
• Street Tacos
• Ramen
• Pho
• Empanadas
• French Pastry & Choux
• Mixology
• Wine Tasting
• Handmade Pasta
• Neapolitan or Artisan Pizza
• Seasonal and Themed Classes

Additional cuisines and specialties are welcome.

Qualifications :

Ideal Candidate

• Passionate about food and excited to share culinary skills with others
• Professional culinary background & food safety certified
• Prior experience teaching cooking classes culinary education demonstrations team training or other instructional environments preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable speaking to and engaging groups of up to 26 guests
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Lead and organize the entire class experience including ingredient purchasing setup instruction and cleanup
• Create a fun engaging and beginner-friendly learning environment
• Teach classes in a hands-on interactive format
• Maintain high standards of sanitation cleanliness and organization throughout the event
• Represent CocuSocial professionally while delivering exceptional guest experiences

Nice to Have

• Access to a venue (your home commercial kitchen restaurant event space etc.) that may be suitable for hosting classes

Additional Information :

Job Type: Part-time Contract

Compensation: $200$350 per class plus guest tips

Schedule: Flexible; instructors may teach a few classes per month or multiple classes per week depending on availability and class demand.

Work Location: In person at CocuSocial partner venues throughout the Charlotte area.
