What Youll Do as a Chef De Cuisine:

As a Chef de Cuisine a Westgate Resorts you Supervise and actively participates in all kitchen operations ensuring the preparation cooking and presentation of food in accordance with established standards and recipes. Responsible for producing high-quality food products that consistently exceed guest expectations while maintaining operational efficiency food safety and cost controls.

• Assign direct train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient daily operations and proper preparation of menu items.
• Ensure proper receiving storage temperature control and rotation of food products in compliance with food safety standards.
• Maintain food quality consistency portion control and presentation standards.
• Monitor and control food and labor costs through effective scheduling inventory management requisitioning and purchasing practices.
• Develop and maintain recipes inventory records and supply orders as needed.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation safety and health department regulations.
• Deliver exceptional guest service by maintaining high culinary standards and responding to guest needs.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance needs with the Executive Chef and Engineering Department.
• Cultivate a positive productive work environment through leadership coaching training and employee development.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

What Youll Bring:

• 10 years of culinary management experience in a similar role preferably in a high-volume restaurant hotel or resort environment.
• Food Handlers Certification required within 30 days of Hire must be maintained on a current/valid status.
• Culinary degree from an accredited institution preferred.
• High school diploma or general education degree GED.
• The Team Member must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Follow instructions without close supervision.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Required to pass a background screen drug test and prove eligibility to work in the United States.
