Chat Support Agent

As a Chat Support Agent you will play a vital role in connecting with individuals seeking help providing timely and empathetic assistance through our digital channels. In this role you will serve as a primary point of contact delivering clear supportive communication and guiding visitors to the resources they need. Your work will directly contribute to Cenikors commitment to fostering hope and healing in the communities we serve.

Key Objectives

• Provide prompt accurate and compassionate responses to inquiries via chat platforms.
  
• Assist individuals in navigating available programs and services.
  
• Maintain professional and confidential communication in line with organizational standards.
  
• Support the overall mission of Cenikor Foundation by delivering exceptional service and care.
  

Responsibilities

• Respond to incoming chat messages from clients families and community members in a timely manner.
  
• Identify the needs of individuals and provide appropriate information or direct them to relevant resources.
  
• Document interactions accurately and maintain detailed records of conversations.
  
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  
• Adhere to confidentiality policies and ethical guidelines at all times.
  
• Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with organizational updates and best practices.
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelors degree preferred.
  
• Previous experience in customer service support roles or nonprofit environments is a plus.
  
• Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  
• Ability to remain calm and empathetic when assisting individuals in crisis or distress.
  
• Comfortable using chat platforms and basic computer applications.
  
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  
• Flexible availability to accommodate varied shifts including evenings and weekends.
