As a Charge RN youll oversee a department of frontline nurses caring for patients. Your previous experience in acute care LTC or nursing homes adds tremendous value to our nursing team.

To thrive in this role you need to be accountable and confident. Youre an excellent communicator in 1:1 interactions and in front of groups. Its also important for you to be comfortable holding tough conversations as you are responsible for the performance of your people and your unit.
- Provides direct supervision of personnel practicing on Nursing Units makes patient care assignments evaluates assignments facilitates patient throughout and directly observes staff performance on their assigned shift.
- Proactively matches existing resources seeking ways to provide patient care that supports staff and maintains a therapeutic environment.
- Monitors productivity and assures that staffing and resources are aligned with patient care needs.
- Communicates personnel related concerns to the Unit Manager.
- Uses a logical systematic approach to problems and problem-solving.
- Facilitates Patient Experience best practices on the unit (hourly rounding etc.)
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and 2 years RN experience upon hire
- Registered Nurse: KY upon hire and
- Basic Life Support - CPR upon hire and
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 Days
- BSN Requirement: Effective 04/01/2026 all ADN prepared RN hires are required to obtain their BSN degree within five (5) years of their start date. Individuals must enroll in and begin participating in a BSN program within two (2) years of their start date.
