Job Summary
- Provides pastoral care to residents and their families through regular visitation and in times of need.
- Prepares crisis intervention and responds promptly to all referrals from administration and support services.
- Prepares order of worship and advises residents of place time and frequencies.
- Assists residents in end of life services to meet their needs carry out their wishes preserve their dignity etc. through empathy understanding and cooperation.
Qualifications :
- Master of Divinity degree or equivalent and be endorsed by religious body to ministries of pastoral care beyond the local congregation preferred.
- Ordination in a mainline Protestant body (UMC UCC Presbyterian U.S.A. ELCA Episcopal Church American Baptist) preferred.
- One unit of ACPE-accredited clinical pastoral education and three years experience in hospital or eldercare chaplaincy preferred.
