Position: Change Management Analyst (Telecom)
Location: Los Angeles CA US
Duration: 12 Months
Rate: $55/hr on W2
Key Responsibilities
Create manage and track Change Requests (CRQs) for telecom infrastructure projects and operational activities.
Coordinate change activities with Telecom Engineering teams supporting:
Microwave communications systems
Land Mobile Radio (LMR) systems
Private LTE (pLTE) networks
Fiber optic networks
WAN/LAN connectivity
Network routing and switching infrastructure
Utility operational communications systems
Facilitate change review meetings and ensure appropriate stakeholder participation and approvals.
Review proposed changes for completeness business impact risk implementation plans testing requirements and rollback procedures.
Maintain change schedules and coordinate implementation windows to minimize operational risk and service disruptions.
Track change execution and ensure all required documentation is completed and archived.
Monitor change management metrics KPIs and compliance reporting.
Support outage coordination maintenance activities and emergency change processes when required.
Partner with Telecom Engineering Operations Cybersecurity and Project teams to ensure changes align with utility operational requirements.
Identify opportunities to improve change management processes governance and documentation standards.
Support audits and compliance activities related to change management controls and operational procedures.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Information Technology Telecommunications Engineering Business or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
3 years of experience in Change Management IT Operations Network Operations Telecommunications or related technical environments.
Experience creating and managing Change Requests (CRQs) within a formal change management process.
Experience coordinating technical changes across multiple teams and stakeholders.
Strong understanding of telecommunications infrastructure and networking concepts.
Experience working with ticketing and change management platforms such as ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools.
Strong organizational communication and documentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting utility energy telecommunications or critical infrastructure organizations.
Familiarity with telecom technologies including microwave radio systems fiber networks IP/MPLS routing and switching and private LTE networks.
Knowledge of ITIL Change Management processes and best practices.
Experience supporting operational technology (OT) or mission-critical communications environments.
ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent.
