Ch74 Cosmetology Assistant

• Deliver instruction to two different levels (Tech 1 and Tech 2)

• Supervise hands-on services including chemical applications

• Ensure safety sanitation and infection control compliance

• Oversee client interactions in a live salon environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or the equivalent
• Must demonstrate the ability to work with students staff administrators parents and the public in creating an atmosphere where individuals feel welcome and respected
• Must be able to work as part of a team and independently
• Must have excellent oral and written communications skills
• Experience with computers and software

REPORTS TO: Director of Career and Technical Education

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:This position may require long periods of standing on concrete floors bending over customers or working in confined spaces with exposure to dust and chemicals.
