Position Synopsis

Backed by a California Based private equity firm that has a track record of locating undervalued assets and creative life altering exits for their portfolio companys executives. This construction services company is aggressively positioning itself for massive expansion via a buy-and-build roll-up strategy.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Act as the primary strategic and financial partner to the CEO participating directly in target evaluations and strategic growth planning.
- Direct all day-to-day accounting financial reporting and treasury operations for the holding company and its operating subsidiaries.
- Manage and maintain robust compliance for all debt covenants and coordinate communication with 3rd-party credit partners entering the cap stack.
- Build out a formal corporate finance structure designing and implementing scalable accounting systems internal controls and standard operating procedures from the ground up.
- Serve as the primary authorizer and approver for all corporate ACH and wire transfers securing corporate liquidity.
- Oversee and optimize complex cash flow management models to ensure capital efficiency across multiple platform entities.
- Design implement and lead the companys formal centralized budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Manage all corporate sales tax reporting and compliance across active operational jurisdictions.
- Serve as the main point of contact for external auditors (Grant Thornton) and private equity sponsors on all routine financial packages.
Experience
- Proven financial background working within blue-collar industrial construction services or home services environments.
- Hands-on experience dealing with institutional lenders and compliance with debt covenants.
- Demonstrated success working within corporate structures with a desire to roll up your sleeves and personally build processes before scaling a team.
- 12 years of progressive corporate finance and accounting experience.
- Direct experience within a Private Equity portfolio company (PE PortCo).
- Active involvement in transactional M&A due diligence and post-close financial integration.
