What Youll Do

As a Credentialed Veterinary Technician youll practice at the top of your license by:

• Performing patient assessments and obtaining medical histories
• Safely restraining patients using Fear Free techniques
• Monitoring anesthesia and assisting with surgical procedures
• Performing dental prophylaxis and dental radiography
• Collecting laboratory samples and running in-house diagnostics
• Administering medications vaccines and treatments as prescribed
• Placing and maintaining intravenous catheters
• Taking and positioning patients for digital radiographs
• Educating clients on preventive care medications and treatment plans
• Maintaining accurate medical records
• Collaborating with veterinarians and the hospital team to provide exceptional patient care

Qualifications

• Current CVT credential required
• Ideal minimum of 1 year of experience as a credentialed veterinary technician
• Strong technical and anesthesia monitoring skills
• Excellent communication and client education abilities
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude with a collaborative team-oriented mindset
• Passion for compassionate Fear Free patient care
