Job Summary
The Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) functions in a scrub role for operative and other invasive procedures including establishing and maintaining a sterile field specimen handling counts medications/solutions implants and instrument processing and may assist with circulating duties as well as participate in activities related to standards and quality improvement for the specialty and the department.
- Require active national Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification.
- Prefer knowledgeable of selected specialty.
- Prefer ability in one-on-one demonstration of sterile technique.
