- Certified Scrum master
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning Daily Stand-ups Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives.
- Coach and mentor team members on Agile and Scrum principles practices and values.
- Remove obstacles and impediments that impact team productivity and sprint goals.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners to maintain and prioritize the product backlog.
- Support teams in achieving sprint objectives and delivering business value.
- Monitor sprint progress velocity burndown charts and other Agile metrics.
- Foster a culture of transparency accountability continuous improvement and teamwork.
- Ensure adherence to Scrum methodologies and Agile best practices.
- Act as a liaison between development teams stakeholders and management.
- Facilitate conflict resolution and promote effective communication among team members.
- Drive Agile transformation initiatives and support organizational change management efforts.
- Identify risks and dependencies and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification from Scrum Alliance or equivalent Agile certification.
- Bachelors degree in Business Information Technology Computer Science or related field.
- 10 years of experience serving as a Scrum Master in Agile environments.
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks including Scrum Kanban and SAFe.
- Experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira Azure DevOps or Rally.
- Excellent facilitation coaching leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical problem-solving and communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Agile certifications (A-CSM PSM SAFe Scrum Master etc.).
- Experience in Banking Financial Services Capital Markets or FinTech domains.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps practices.
- Experience managing multiple Agile teams simultaneously.
