Job Summary

Certified Pharmacy Technician - Front Fill Team Leader in Franklin TN

Network HealthCare Pharmacy is a closed-door pharmacy seeking a motivated Certified Pharmacy Technician - Front Fill Team Leader to work in our Franklin TN location.

Manages and leads a team of partners. Communicates company goals safety practices and deadlines to team members. Motivates team members and assesses their job performance. Provides help to management including participating in hiring and training. Keeps management updated on team performance and work output. Strives to lead/motivate team members for maximum work performance utilization.

Job Duties:

  • Supports Pharmacy Manager and Pharmacy Director in all aspects of the teams performance/productivity
  • Helps manage inventory/stock including keeping detailed records of goods used. Advises when necessary what to order
  • Trains new partners develop and maintain team work schedule
  • Answers team members questions on policies/procedures/pharmacy mandates etc.
  • Conducts team meetings on best practices and continuing expectations
  • Ensures respective team works with other teams in a supporting manner always striving to maintain/produce results at a high level of productivity
  • Acts as a go-between for upper management to respective team members
  • Writes performance reports and issues disciplinary actions under the guidance of management
  • Conducts daily team meetings
  • Oversees the role and mission of a respective team
  • Other duties as assigned

Physical Demands:

  • May stand up to seven (7) hours per day
  • The employee is occasionally required to sit reach stoop kneel bend crouch or walk intermittently
  • May be necessary to work extended hours as needed
  • May lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
  • The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this role

Qualifications:

  • High School education minimum some post-secondary education preferred.
  • Two plus years of proven experience as a Certified Pharmacy Tech in a Long-Term Care facility
  • Able to read write speak and understand the English language
  • Able to work at a moderate speed
  • Able to work during inclement weather
  • Reliable
  • Good organization/Attention to detail
  • Analytical/Problem solver
  • Able to physically perform light lifting

We are a Long Term Care Pharmacy facility serving nursing homes assisted living centers etc. Huge prescription volume of medications filled daily. Applicants from retail and/or hospital setting strongly urged to apply! Solid dependable and verifiable work history required.
