Schedule:
Full Time expected 40 hours per week.
Monday Friday8a-5p or 9a-6p.
As a Pediatric Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) you will:
- Help children overcome daily challenges by supporting their participation in meaningful activities through therapeutic interventions.
- Deliver hands-on play-based therapy in an outpatient clinic setting following evidence-based sensory-integrative and developmental approaches.
- Collaborate closely with licensed Occupational Therapists to develop implement and progress individualized treatment plans.
- Track and assess client progress contributing to updates in plans of care and discharge planning.
- Educate families and caregivers on home exercise programs and strategies to support continued progress outside of therapy sessions.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation in alignment with clinical best practices and regulatory standards.
- Work as part of a collaborative team of healthcare professionals to enhance each childs functional abilities and overall well-being.
- Graduate of an accredited Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant program with the minimum of an associate degree.
- Possess a valid state Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant License as required by the State of Pennsylvania.
Current registration and licensure with NBCOT
