Job Summary
Position: Certified Forklift Driver/Turret Driver
Work Location: Aurora IL 60502
Pay Rate: $21.00/hr
Duration: 3 Months role with high chances of extension/conversion
Shift: (7:00 AM - 4:00 PM) Sun to Sat (5-6 days upon shift arrangement) & Overtime work is generally needed
Dress Code: Pants/Plain Shirt/ Steel Toed Boots
Job Description:
- Operate a turret forklift safely and efficiently in narrow aisle warehouse environments
- Pick pull move stack and stage products and materials
- Load and unload shipments as needed
- Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance issues
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and product locations
- Follow OSHA safety standards and company policies at all times
- Keep work areas clean and organized
- Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating a turret forklift required
- Forklift Certification
Skills:
- Must be able to lift boxes averaging 50 60 lbs individually with the expectation that some boxes may be heavier.
- Accurate box counting and strong organizational skills
- Bilingual Preferred
