Job Overview

Join a vital behind-the-scenes team that keeps patient care running safely and efficiently every day. As a Central Supply Technician you play an essential role in ensuring that medical equipment and supplies are properly cleaned sterilized assembled and delivered throughout the hospital.

This position works under the supervision of the CSP Manager and supports multiple departments by making sure they have what they needwhen they need it. Its a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment takes pride in precision and enjoys being part of a collaborative healthcare team.

What Youll Do

Youll be responsible for a variety of essential tasks that directly support patient care and hospital operations including:

  • Cleaning disinfecting and reassembling medical equipment such as suction machines IV pumps wheelchairs walkers and commodes using approved cleaning agents and procedures
  • Testing equipment for proper function and replacing damaged or missing parts using available inventory
  • Completing required documentation and ensuring inoperable equipment is properly routed for repair
  • Bagging tagging and labeling cleaned equipment to maintain safety and compliance standards
  • Delivering supplies and equipment to requesting departments and preparing surgical (OR) case carts as needed
  • Restocking supply areas and maintaining organized inventory levels
  • Checking expiration dates and verifying integrity of sterile supplies and packaging indicators
  • Responding to phone calls from departments and assisting with supply or equipment needs
  • Maintaining a clean organized and safe work environment in all assigned areas
  • Supporting onboarding and training of new team members within the department

What Were Looking For

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED

Preferred (Not Required):

  • Experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Background in supply chain shipping/receiving logistics or healthcare support roles
