As a Cellular Modem RF Software Engineering Program Manager you will be at the heart of our ground-breaking cellular baseband modems to meet performance quality and schedule requirements for Apple products. This role demands excellent interpersonal skills to work multi-functionally within a dynamic engineering environment. Partnering with engineers and managers from our hardware and software engineering teams will be key to your success in this role. You will deliver executive communication and presentations to support the decision-making process clearly and effectively communicate overall program status while identifying and resolving key bottlenecks and interdependencies of sophisticated projects. Ideally you will also have validated project management experience in some aspect of RF Software development integration and pre / post-silicon RF verification and cellular RF features.

Own the development of Cellular RF Software controlling the RF transceivers and Front-end components in real-time full signaling execution for RF Software plans across project phases from implementation and pre-silicon validation to cellular feature productization of RF Software through cellular modem system testing field testing interoperability testing and production and report RF Software activities for development validation non-regression testing release management improvements and defect resolution. nAnticipate risks develop mitigation strategies and facilitate conflict presentations supporting executive reviews including project status key metrics top risks and issues.

BS and 10 years relevant industry ability with a track record of hands-on engineering management / leadership or program / project management in the FW/SW proven experience in wireless modem Layer 1 / RF Software development and/or RF verification.

Good understanding about the Development Lifecycle for embedded software / understanding about Development Lifecycle for embedded of cellular modem baseband building blocks and software understanding of RF transceiver and RF front end components control for cellular of RF Cellular major features real-time requirements and associated in wireless standards a significant plus (5G-NR/4G LTE/UMTS/GSM/CDMA).nAbility to quickly establish and manage sophisticated multi-functional relationships in a dynamic engineering problem solver with ability to lead technical teams and multi-functional groups against written and verbal communication skills at senior management level including strong presentation skills.
