The Role

Our CDL Drivers are responsible for the shipment and receiving of hazardous chemicals according to QS 9001 and ISO 14001 standards and follow all D.O.T and CFR 49 requirements.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

Serve as CDL Driver and HVM/ISO Operator with the primary purpose of Transportation
Load finished product on trucks for delivery; unload product delivered to Mesa
Transport Hazardous shipments to our various local customers and suppliers.
Adhere to all DOT requirements.
Operate forklift yard tractor and trailer.
Prepare HVM Isotainers for Domestic and International shipment.
Prepare Isotainers for Recertification and perform routine maintenance to keep Customer ISOs in proper working condition according to ITCO standards.
Ensure that all shipping documentation (e.g. bills of lading shipping orders or freight bills etc.) required to transport hazardous materials are available for inspection. This includes the appropriate emergency response materials required accompany all shipments in transport.
Performs all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Adheres to all regulatory and safety requirements governing the transportation of hazardous materials.
Assist and maintain supply chain for internal and external customers as instructed.
Maintain excellent customer relations.

REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or GED.
Current Arizona Class A Commercial Driver License required
HAZMAT and Tanker Endorsements preferred
Verifiable 3 years prior commercial driving experience and good driving record is required.
Must pass physical and drug screen as specified by corporate guidelines and DOT.
Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
Must be able to push/pull up to 101 pounds
Ability to work additional hours and some weekends will be required
Forklift experience (stand up lift preferable)
Previous experience in Warehouse Dock Operations/Shipping highly preferred
This is a safety-sensitive position that requires candidates to successfully pass a post-offer drug screening prior to employment. One of the essential job functions is the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
