CDL Delivery Driver Shipping & Receiving SupportLocation:Brandon SDService Area:Primarily local deliveries within 150 air miles of Brandon SDSchedule:M-FPosition SummaryWe are seeking a dependable customer-focused CDL Delivery Driver / Shipping & Receiving Supportteam member to join our private fleet operation based in Brandon SD. This position is responsible for safely loading transporting and delivering materials to customers while providing excellent service at each stop. This role will start and end each day in Brandon SD with the expectation of being home every addition to local delivery responsibilities this position will flex into shipping and receiving supportas business needs require. The ideal candidate is safety-minded self-motivated professional with customers and willing to support warehouse and shipping operations when not on the Functions:Delivery & TransportationSafely operate a CDL truck for local and regional deliveries within approximately 150 air miles of Brandon SDStart and end each workday from the Brandon SDlocationLoad secure transport and unload materials in a safe and efficient mannerVerify load accuracy before departure and confirm delivery paperwork upon arrivalInspect cargo toensure it is properly secured and protected during transportFollow establisheddelivery routes schedules and DOT/company safety requirementsConduct pre-trip post-trip and routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance concerns promptlyMaintain cleanliness and basic care of assigned truck and delivery equipmentCustomer ServiceServe as a professional representative of the company during deliveries and pickupsCommunicate clearly and courteously with customers at delivery locationsEnsure deliveries are completed accurately on time and in a professional mannerAddress routine delivery issues with a calm solution-oriented attitude and communicate concerns back to the appropriate internal teamBuild positive working relationships with customers through reliable service and professionalismShipping & Receiving / Warehouse SupportAssist with shipping receiving staging and material handling activities when not making deliveriesHelp load outbound shipments and unload inbound materialsVerify quantities inspect materials and assist with organizing inventory and shipment preparationSupport warehouse flow dock activity and general shipping/receiving operations as neededWork collaboratively with shipping warehouse and operations teams to meet daily prioritiesQualificationsValid CDLlicense with acceptable driving recordCurrentmedical card and ability to meet DOT requirementsPrior experience in delivery driving trucking shipping/receiving warehouse operations or material handling preferredStrong commitment to safety compliance and customer serviceAbility to load andunload materials and perform physical work throughout the dayForklift experience preferred (or willingness to become certified if applicable)Ability to work independentlywhile also supporting team operationsStrong attention to detail with paperwork load accuracy and delivery documentationDependable attendance and punctuality requiredKnowledge Skills and AbilitiesSafe driving practices and equipment handlingCustomer-focused communication and professionalismBasic understanding of shipping receiving and warehouse processesAbility to adapt between driving duties and facility support tasksStrong time management and route disciplineProblem-solving mindset and willingness to help where neededPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS:Physical Requirements: Required to sit stand walk bend and reach.
