CDL Class B Spotter Driver

Job Duties

• Safely move and position trucks trailers roll-off containers and other equipment within the yard.
• Direct incoming and outgoing vehicles to designated loading unloading and staging areas.
• Maintain a class B license clean MVR and participate in DOT required random procedure.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicles and equipment.
• Identify and tag containers.
• Ensure load securement utilize various tarping methods.
• Consult with customer and management alike on customer container placement.
• Operate DORI owned spotter truck box truck or other equipment to service localized customer base.

Required Qualifications/Skills/Education

• Must have a Class B CDL driver license.
• Must pass a DOT physical.
• Must have two years of verifiable tractor/trailer or roll off driving experience.
• No on-road preventable accidents during the past three years as shown on the motor vehicle record.
• No more than one moving violation on the MVR in the previous three years.
• High School Diploma or GED
