CDL-A OTR Reefer Driver Recent CDL Grads Home Every 2 Weeks

Were hiring recent CDL-A grads in Orangeburg Bowman and Orangeburg County for an OTR reefer seat. You earn $650 a week in training then $1300 to $1500 a week solo and youre home every two weeks.

Wondering what the job feels like Heres a regular day once youre solo.

You wake up in your sleeper. Its your assigned truck about 1.5 years old on average automatic or 10-speed. You do your pre-trip check the reefer unit and roll.

The trailer is loaded and cold. You drive it across the East or Midwest sometimes by day and sometimes overnight. At the receiver you back in hand over paperwork and wait. You dont unload. Thats the docks job.

Short hauls pay $100 flat. By the end of the week youve logged at least 1900 miles often up to 2800. Drivers average $1300 to $1500 a week plus a monthly performance bonus. Every two weeks you head home.

How you get there

After an orientation of two days at most with the hotel covered bus fare reimbursed and $300 earned once hired you ride with a mentor for 3 to 5 weeks (200250 hours) at $650 a week. Your first three months solo come with a $1000 weekly guarantee.

What you need

• Age 21 Class A CDL
• New CDL grad or 6 months of recent experience
• No more than 2 moving violations in 2 years
• No DUI/DWI in 10 years
• DOT physical and hair/urine drug test
