The money

• $650 a week during training
• $1200 to $1800 a week once solo
• $55 per load plus $0.61 a mile
• 1100 to 1700 miles a week
• Paid weekly

Your week

Container moves from the Avenel yard to customers across New Jersey. Mostly drop and hook with some live loads. Home daily.

From CDL school to running solo

1. A recruiter calls you and reviews your CDL and driving record with you.
2. Orientation 2 days at most. Hotel paid one-way bus ticket reimbursed $300 for orientation once hired.
3. 4 to 6 weeks with a mentor: backing trip planning logs and fueling. You are paid $650 a week.
4. You run local container moves on your own and go home every night.

To qualify

You must be 21 or older with a Class A CDL. New drivers need at least 120 hours from a CDL school; otherwise 6 months of recent experience. We accept up to 2 moving violations in the last 2 years and no DUI/DWI in the last 10. You will also pass a DOT physical and a hair and urine drug test.

Once you pass 30 days
