CDL-A Driver Tacoma WA Regional 2 Weeks Out Avg $1546/Wk
Role Overview
A regional retail freight operation based out of Tacoma WA is seeking CDL-A drivers for dedicated Harbor Freight store deliveries throughout the Western and Rocky Mountain regions. Drivers will haul no-touch dry freight while running multi-stop regional routes. This position offers assigned trucks consistent freight and strong earning potential for drivers comfortable staying out for extended regional runs.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport dry freight to Harbor Freight store locations across regional routes
- Deliver freight throughout CA UT CO ID WA OR and MT
- Handle multi-stop delivery routes averaging approximately 18 stops per week
- Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Accurately maintain logs and delivery documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and store locations
- Operate safely in varying weather mountain and traffic conditions
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license required
- Comfortable operating extended regional routes
- Ability to manage high stop-count delivery schedules
- Strong safety mindset and reliable attendance
- Must have reliable personal transportation since trucks cannot be taken home
- Ability to stay out a minimum of 2 weeks at a time
- Ability to operate safely in mountain and varying weather conditions
Compensation & Benefits
- Average weekly pay: $1546
- Top 10% weekly pay: $1635
- Average annual pay: $80392
- Top 10% annual pay: $85000
- CPM pay structure based on experience
- Additional stop pay: $20 per stop
- Average 18 stops per week
- Detention pay: $20/hour after 2 hours (up to 10 hours)

- 8 years: $0.70 CPM
- 9 years: $0.71 CPM

- Dedicated lane opportunities for drivers based in ND SD UT and CO
Schedule & Home Time
- Minimum 2 weeks out
- 34-hour reset as needed
- Additional time out available for extra earning potential
- Drivers staying out beyond 2 weeks receive one day off for every additional week out
- Time-off requests require minimum 2 weeks notice
Orientation & Training
- Remote orientation available
- Remote starts must begin on Mondays
- Drivers report to Salt Lake City for road testing and tractor assignment
- Drivers unable to start Monday complete onsite orientation in Salt Lake City
Equipment
- Assigned trucks (not slip-seated)
- Trucks remain at approved parking locations during home time
- UT trucks park at Salt Lake City facility
- CO trucks park at Fort Lupton location
- ND and SD parking at approved truck stops
