Full-Time Kansas City Metro Community-Based Non-Exempt $20.50-$22.40/hour Full Benefits
CDD is looking for a compassionate skilled Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide direct behavioral support to adults with developmental disabilities in home and community settings. Working under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) you will implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programming Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and skill-acquisition strategies that help individuals build greater independence and participate more fully in community life.

What Youll Do
- Implement ABA treatment plans Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and skill-acquisition programs under BCBA supervision.
- Provide direct behavioral support during daily routines activities transitions and community participation.
- Use positive behavior supports reinforcement strategies de-escalation techniques and approved crisis-intervention procedures.
- Collect objective behavioral data and complete service documentation progress notes and incident reports.
- Model behavioral strategies and support staff in implementing interventions consistently.
- Assist with behavior assessments and plan updates while promoting dignity independence and self-determination.
What You Bring
Required
- High school diploma or GED.
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Knowledge of ABA principles positive behavior supports data collection crisis prevention and de-escalation.
- Strong verbal and written communication organization documentation and person-centered support skills.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role including occasionally lifting or moving up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to successfully complete required background screening and agency requirements.
Preferred
- One to two years of experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities autism or behavioral challenges.
- Experience implementing ABA interventions or Behavior Intervention Plans in community-based residential or human-services settings.
