This recruitment will be used to fill multiple part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) Undergraduate Grader positions for the School of Chemical Biological and Environmental Engineering (CBEE) at Oregon State University (OSU).
This position assists CBEE faculty with grading homework studio work and test papers to a rubric and may include in-class assistance. Assignment may vary from 3-20 hours per week depending on the workload and assignment.
Position Duties:
95%: Grading via a grading rubric.
5%: in-class support as needed.

Must meet Academic Standing Requirements; students on academic suspension are not eligible for employment

Undergraduate and post-baccalaureate student: 6 credit hours per term
Undergraduate international student: 12 credit hours per term*
Graduate student officially admitted to Graduate School: 5 credit hours per term
Graduate international student officially admitted to Graduate School: 9 credit hours per term*
*International students may be allowed to carry fewer hours than specified above and still be considered full-time by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). A reduced course load is approved by theOffice of International Services(OIS) and must be provided to the Student Employment Center.
Required Qualifications:
Engineering undergraduate major
Sophomore or above
Successful completion of the course they are supporting with a B or higher
OverallGPAgreater than 2.9/4.0
Knowledge of Canvas
Strong interpersonal skills and interacting with people from diverse backgrounds
Attention to detail and organization
Demonstrable ability to work independently and in a team environment

Environmental Engineering Chemical Engineering or Bioengineering major
Junior or above
Successful completion of the course they are supporting with a B or higher

Comfortable leading sections of a class with 25-30 students each
Team player
Must be able to work between 5 20 hours per week.
