Cath Lab Technologist

Job Summary
Under the general supervision of the Director the Cath Lab Technologist provides care for patientshaving procedures in the Cath Lab in the role of monitoring scrubbing and an understanding of all invasive procedures the equipment and supplies for eachprocedure and indications for performing each procedure. Must be able to take call and live within30 minutes of hospital and/or make accommodations for being within 30 minutes of hospital whentaking call.
MINIMUM EDUCATION:
Associate Degree.
MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:
Two years prior Cath Lab experience performing both diagnostic andinterventional procedures is preferred.
REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
BLS and ACLS certification required though American HeartAssociation. RCIS or ARRT required upon hire date.
REQUIRED SKILLS KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
Basic computer knowledge. Exhibits strong interpersonal and teamplayer skills with all levels of the healthcare team. Proficiency ininterpreting ECGs and hemodynamic pressure monitoring preferred.
