The Catering Sales Manager will ensure booked events comply with property policy while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. Maintaining optimum guest satisfaction and meeting or exceeding overall profitability objectivesResponsibilitiesSolicitation of direct sales in the local wedding marketEvent planning and detailing for booked events Maximize Catering revenues wherever possible and minimize erosion of check averages from price-sensitive groups. Communication of function arrangements to all responsible hotel with clients before events to initiate negotiate and close contracts for all catered of profitable menus and distribution of client expectations to Food & Beverage Catering support services (flowers entertainment decoration A/V etc.) to provide complete client double-check all function arrangements against the clients specifications. Correct where client contracts and communicate effectively to ensure repeat and increase client prospects through active hotel revenue through upselling duties as assigned by the Director of Catering and Convention ServicesExperience:High School Diploma or degree of 1 year hotel sales/catering experience and/or successful completion of Omni LID of the operations of the hotel enthusiastic creative leader who thrives under pressure and can perform multiple functions and troubleshoot when of the English language both written and verbal with the ability to demonstrate warmth and empathy when engaging with have proven selling negotiating and presentation knowledge of advanced sales developed customer service skills with strong attention to computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Word PowerPoint Excel and Outlook. Delphi experience ability to delegate effectively train and coachMust be able to work a flexible schedule including nights weekends and holidays (Schedule for this role is typically Tuesday through Saturday)
