This position supports a highvolume university dining operation that provides residential retail and fullservice catering for campus events. The ideal candidate thrives in a fastpaced environment values teamwork and demonstrates strong leadership and organizational skills.

The Catering Manager oversees catering services to ensure client satisfaction and operational excellence. Responsibilities include managing event logistics supervising staff maintaining safety standards and driving efficiency across food production inventory and procurement.

• Event Oversight Direct daily catering operations including food production deliveries and inventory.
  

• Client Collaboration Work with university departments and customers to design and execute events.
  

• Team Leadership Supervise and train staff delegate tasks and monitor performance.
  

• Safety Compliance Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to all regulatory standards.
  

• Budget Management Control labor and material costs making adjustments as needed.
  

• Previous experience facilitating communication between sales culinary and frontofhouse teams to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of all orders including lastminute needs efficiently and collaboratively.
  

• Ability to adhere to timekeeping and labor cost control procedures maintaining staff payroll and schedules in Kronos.
  

• Strong attention to detail when reviewing catering event orders and weekly catering sheets for accuracy.
  

• Positive practical solutions to client queries while following catering policies and procedures and supporting staff effectively.
  

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
  

• Minimum 3 years of management experience
  

• Minimum 3 years in catering food production or hospitality operations
  

• Strong communication organizational and problemsolving skills
  

• Ability to manage multiple events and deadlines effectively
