Catering Coordinator

Catering Coordinator Full Time Hourly Estimated pay range $20-22 depending on qualifications and experienceMust be at least 18 years and olderYour day-to-day: Thorough knowledge and understanding of the Stew Leonards catering menu including holiday menus Speak directly with customers in store and on the phone and accurately document the requirements of the customers order Assist customer and guide them with food and quantity selections based on event size and details Help prep and package orders Ensure each sales department is prepared to execute order requirements by circulating order details Ensure menus are up to date and available in store Solicit services with local businesses Ensure pricing is accurate As needed assist chef and culinary staff in the kitchen department Deliver catering orders when necessary Adhere to all health sanitation and safety regulations Perform other duties as assignedQualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent At least one year experience with product knowledge Excellent customer service skills Excellent communication skills both written and oral Good computer skills and a basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel Word and Outlook and in house catering program Good organizational skills The ability to multi-taskWhat you bring to the team: Excellent work ethic Excellent interpersonal skill Detailed oriented Good listener Honest Quick thinker Problem solver FlexibleWorking Conditions: The position requires standing and walking with occasional sitting reaching and lifting up to : Greet customers with a friendly smile and positive attitude ensuring that each customer feels welcome and : Collaborate with team members to ensure the smooth operation of the store offering assistance and support where : Improve and maintain the efficiency of the store in order to reach : Be a positive ambassador for the store representing our S.T.E.W. values in all interactions with customers and team members.
