Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore MD is hiring for a Catering Coordinator.



Schedule:

Primary schedule: 6:00am-2:30pm/7:00am-3:30pm
The schedule is based on events which will occasionally last into the evening hours

Pay Rate:

$22.00 per hour


Responsibilities

Responsible for performing a range of food service duties including cooking prepping and general sanitation.

Develops customer relationships to maintain client satisfaction
Setup and serve events that are both casual and more executive in nature.
Event sizes can range from 12-150. Some are much larger but that is rare.
Advanced level of technical experience in food preparation.
Skilled in cooking and following menus and recipes.
Guides other catering staff when needed.
Greets all customers with personal service and provides superior customer satisfaction.
Must be able to transport food and equipment to catering functions.
Answers phones and takes requests when needed.
Makes deliveries across campus using various transportation means inside and outside Per hiring manager not needed for temporary role..
Schedules and coordinates duties independently on all shifts.
Performs additional duties as assigned.
