Cashier

We are looking for a reliable friendly and energetic Cashier to join our taco food truck team. The Cashier is the first point of contact for customers taking orders handling payments and ensuring every guest has a positive experience. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment has excellent communication skills and is committed to providing outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers with a friendly and positive attitude.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately.
• Process cash credit/debit card and mobile payments.
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Answer customer questions about menu items and make recommendations.
• Ensure order accuracy before handing food to customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized cashier station.
• Restock napkins utensils condiments and beverages as needed.
• Assist with opening and closing duties including cash drawer reconciliation.
• Follow food safety sanitation and health regulations.
• Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

Requirements:

• Previous cashier or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable punctual and team oriented.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lifting up to 25 pounds

Job Type:Full Time Monday Friday with occasional Saturdays.
