Position Overview

The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is seeking an organized professional and energetic individual to serve as Case Assignment and Placement Unit Problem Resolution Associate. The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent organizational skills and strong communication skills. DCFS offers a competitive compensation plan excellent benefits and a pension program. Essential Functions
  • Receives reviews and logs all incoming paperwork independently determining the completeness of materials received
  • Keyboards and prepares a variety of complex materials including but not limited to detailed data entry highlytechnical reports Department forms and correspondence
  • Receives screening results and temporary custody Information reviewing log for intake data and routingInformation to appropriate staff for processing
  • Performs follow up with concerned individuals to obtain missing or inaccurate information that may lead to delaysin case openings.
  • Provides consistent review of pending case assignments to ensure adherence to established timelines regardingcall back procedures
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumeratedabove
Minimum Requirements
  • Requires knowledge skill and mental development equivalent to completion of high school
  • Requires 2 years of office experience
  • Requires ability to keyboard accurately at 45 wpm
